Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress from America. After her debut on film during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack group of actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over 20 years. Her film career began early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of reviews. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. In the wake of her success in her first film she later appeared in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the greatest high school films of all time. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. She also began appearing in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent show. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. Also, she appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is an appearance in a small part. Sheedy's amazing performances have won many awards, such as her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
