Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her leading roles in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles on film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American television. Emily's passion for acting started when, at age 12 she was visiting their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. After realizing her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials and was soon included in the Canadian TV show for children Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? which featured her in a single scene with any dialog. Her first break came at 15 years old after she was spotted on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance was noticed by Greg Berlanti despite the fact that the show ended with just nine seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily was a professional dancer, and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the top young actress. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
