Forbes magazine, in its August 2020 issue, named Addison Rae to be the most popular TikToker earner worldwide. She is also among the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become a huge star on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. The singer made her debut a singer when she released her single Obsessed in 2021. It reached the top four spot on New Zealand Hot Singles Chart and became the sixth most trending YouTube video within the first day following it was released. Addison Rae has also received nominations for prestigious awards including People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards and Kids' Choice Awards.
